Lombardo’s Bistro in Myrtle Beach , South Carolina is a treat for all. The beautifully decorated restaurant offers spacious seating and a feel good atmosphere. I think that the combination of decoration, lighting and music set a comfortable tone.
From the moment Sara our hostess greeted us at the door we knew we were in for a real treat, her smile alone could have lit up the room. Soon after Sara seated us we met our waiter, Thomas. Who was very polite and served us in a timely manner. The house salad is terrific . Served with tomato, red lettuce, romain lettuce, spinach, onion and grated carats, croutons and topped off with you choice of salad dressing.
The menu was well diversified, many Italian choices are offered. My husband Merlin chose the Roast pork. I chose Fish and Chips, yeah can you believe it I got Fish and Chips in an Italian eatery. That’s sort of funny when you think about it. We enjoyed our main course.
After dinner we settled on sharing a slice of cheesecake. Merlin seemed to enjoy the desert just fine, I however had a few bites and was not particularly fond of the raspberry flavoring or the store-bought texture. Then again not everyone knows Cheesecake like me.
I rate Lombardo’s 4.5 stars. We will both return to dine at this restaurant again.
Merlin and I would like to thank Dan at Myrtle Beach Free and Dudley Free (facebook)
for inviting us to attend this special promotion and dine out at Lombardo’s on this Tuesday Night.
